Charges being filed against Nov. 9th Occupy Cal Protesters who were beaten by police with batons (the incident where students were jabbed with batons) the first solidarity event is Monday at Noon.

-Doodle Poll to set permanent GA time closes Friday, here is link: Doodle Poll. GA’s will be held in front of the library (inside if raining).

-Occupy SFSU authorizes Education Committee to work with Experimental College (ExCo), and post ExCo events on Occupy SFSU Calendar.

-Occupy SFSU endorses March 1 and 5 days of action

-Occupy SFSU supports Occupy CCSF Feb. 7 encampment and party

-Camp maintenance and welcoming workgroup dissolved

-Friday action against bank tabling endorsed

Leticia: Occupy feels like home and change/be inclusive /equitable society- we have to question our ideology.
Delta: fight for workers rights/free education/free healthcare. Political change of “revolve” into “evolve” for a permanent change.
Aaron: need affordable housing, decentralized gov./direct action/ we no longer have human rights/solutions come from people/bridge gap between communities
Orlando: show other people the illusions that are put in front o us/ we can create a better community/ be a part of the solution and educate others

Sabor- Global Reoccupy starts 12/17/11. Many will be arrested. Occupy Sf-ers will flee to Occupy SFSU.
Sean- Berkley Group will be meeting 12/17/11. March 1st: Local one day event. $633 Million cut from edu. Trigger cuts. $83 million from prison.

Special Occupy SFSU General Assembly at 7pm on Friday

A special Occupy SFSU General Assembly meeting from 7-9pm this Friday, December 16, will address the issue of whether to continue the Occupy SFSU camp over the holiday break or come back at the start of the Spring semester. This is an important decision that we want everyone to be a part of. Please come with ideas, suggestions and proposals!
